Grimmjow, even though you only wanted to heal Ichigo so that you could kill him… I still want to hug you for letting him live :}
He never said he wanted to kill him per se. It could be that he just wants a chance to finish the fight they started, since they have yet to fight 1 on 1 without interruption…. kinda like how kenpachi still wants to fight ichigo again. Not so much to kill, but to have an enjoyable fight. Maybe I’m wrong, but it kinda seems that way.
Before this episode, I never really liked nor disliked grimmjow. He was just another badguy, but after this episode I can’t help but like him somewhat. It’s nice to find a badguy with some honor. Even if he ends up killing Ichigo, at least he would do it in a fair fight. Any baddie that can repay a hostage, and show a slight amount of compassion is a worthy foe.
I’m pretty sure… he reduced the damage. Don’t know if you caught that. It’s not like he mentions it a lot.
