the film was done by 6 (or so) different directors/artists, thats the reasoning behind the change in animation, sorta like the Animatrix movie. The whole concept of this particular film was done in cooperation w/ the games designers so it takes after the game almost exactly. Overall, insane. Love the visions of each perspective, the story itself is incredible. The fact that it was written in the 12-1300’s is crazy, dude had a sick concept of hell, and to have it brought to life in this median is is absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to see what they do w/ Purgatorio. (if ya don’t know..ya need to find out.)

also it does change in each gate its cool
I imagine that the changes in appearance seen in Dante, his father, Francesco, and Virgil in each circle (flashback or not) represent the sin reflected upon the individuals soul, I believe Lucifer is exempt from this theory because the his physical changes are most likely shown as his power increasing……
They were right to call it an animated EPIC. I love how they switched up the different art styles. Now i want to read the book.

I don’t like when I use the blazin player to watch this it only has half of it. I like the movie though. Its amazing! I never fathomed Dante’s Inferno in such a fashion.
Truth be told I never finished the book. This makes me wish to read it all over again.

the movie was great but i too was really bothered by them changing the animation style and looks of things all the time bothersome
did they use all the concept art to make this movie? it looks like they kept every idea from brainstorming, but just arranged it to change design for each circle of hell.
it was very good. dante was gulity the whole time and he desired to be in hell. he i like the circle of volence.
i should read the original poem to farther appreciate the story.
