but allen has to eat so much cuz of the fact that he has a parasitic innocence.

1. to eat a lot to keep his strength
2. a decreased life span (which i think allen will not be affected by)
i think the eating thing is just part of the anime not his price cuzz whatch d. gray man allen on there eats like Fing hell, it think its just part of some animes for the main character to do that for more of a funny story ya know? and i still dont get what his power is…if he has one…WTF IS HE!?!??!
I thought his price for using his power was eating considering he eats so much…
his price is fact he has a conscious and realizes what hes doing unlike the others who feel nothing for doing what they do=O i just started watching but thats my guess.
