I cried when Tamari thanked Naruto, it was moving
LOL. The opening beats of the opening song remind me of Pokemon. But I’m not sure if Naruto told them the real reason why he’s so determined to save Gaara. I think it has more to do with him being unable to save Sasuke. The last thing he wants is to lose another friend.
Naruto may be stupid but he’s emotionally intelligent. And more than that he’s emotionally brave. He has the courage to keep his heart open to all, even his enemies, he’s proven time and again that his compassion and chivalry are boundless. The main reason he’s still alive is because he’s so overwhelmingly empathetic, how many enemies has he won over just by feeling their pain and reaching out to them? It’s how he reformed Gaara and gained him as an ally in the fist place, so, you really can’t say its just about having failed to save Sasuske — if he lets Gaara die, all his efforts to change him will have been for nothing.
