As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. 2. bleach minion says:

this is one of the best animes i’v ever watched!!but will there be a code geass r3?

  3. Kazuma 072 says:

This is my absolute favorite anime, I got hooked in Episode 2. After I watched the entire first season I had to wait next week to see the first episode of the second season. I really wanted to see what happened next so I watched the entire seconds season in subs on YouTube. I should note that I LOATHE SUBS.

I can’t be bothered with reading text at the bottom of the screen, distracting me from what’s going on. I end up missing what happened and have to rewind sometimes. However, Code Geass was an exceptional anime for an exceptional circumstance.

Ever since I watched the first season, I loved Code Geass. I’ve seen the entire first and second seasons over six times now. Like others, I can’t get enough Code Geass!

  4. Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV says:

At first it moves by fast. If you stick too it though, it gets more in depth, more compelling, dramatic, and trippy. I had doubts at first, but soon after I started, it’s now my second favorite series!

  5. Integra says:

First of all I would like to say that I really tried to watch and enjoy this series. It was always on the recommendation list for most of my favourite animes, so today I decided that I would try and watch it. Personally, I dislike the series, I really don’t see what is so amazing about it, the first episode alone bored me.
I know I’ve never been a mecha or a science fiction fan, and I always knew that Code Geass was a mecha and science fiction anime, but anyway I tried watching it just to see if the rest of the themes in the anime lessen the two genres I dislike. I have to say that it isn’t the mecha that puts me off the anime; it’s the main character. How can people say he’s a good character? He’s just full of hatred and is so cocky that I feel like I was in the same room as him I would slap him one.
Yes, I know lots of people love this anime, and I’m not saying you should take my words and say that I’m bashing the series. I’m saying my honest opinion of this series. Everyone in entitled to their own opinion, otherwise life would be plain boring. Their be no point to life if everyone was the same.
What I am going to say is this series is what would happen if Vampire Knight, Darker Than Black and Death Note all got together and decided to make an anime. Then added some mecha in and made the characters shallow.

well you really should try to watch it to the very end to rate it (if you didn’t already, but it doesn’t sounded like that). it really picks up some tension and drama on the course to solve the plot.

for the Mecha / SF thing. it really doesn’t matter here. they could have mostly done it in an medieval setting with magics instead of technology. yeah some things won’t work out, but the most important thing to understand is that “arms race” between the factions. the fights itself are just for show

for the characters. some characters motives or storyline twists look strange or senseless at first. but, there are several shortstories (some only audio) which are not included in the normal EPs (and very hard to find for non-japanese, even i don’t have all) which some of them ARE mandatory to feel with the characters.

and for lelouch himself. it is extremly important to get one thing. lelouch and zero are NOT the same person (yes, some might think now “wtf? that’s wrong!”). zero is not a personat all. zero is an entity which is born from an idea. lelouch (and others) is only IMPERSONATING zero. sounds odd, and it is odd. but if you watch it (or just sum it up) with that in mind, it nearly is an whole other story.

    • ScilenceShadow says:

I didn’t really care for Code Geass at the begining either, but i forced my way through the first few eps, and then i just fell in love with it. Like you i dont really like the whole Mecha part of it, but if you were to take out the mecha then CG wouldnt be very interesting. anyway like they say you cant judge an anime by its first episode ’cause it doesnt tell you where its going.

    • Kazuma 072 says:

This guy either hasn’t watched the entire series to the end or didn’t pay attention to the end. Judging Lelouch as an evil person full of hatred is just the kind of statement you’d hear from someone who hasn’t watched the entire series though and paid attention. You need to re-watch it and really analyze the story more.

  6. Diego J. Preciado says:

Code Geass rules! No matter how many time I watch it it doesn’t get old.

  7. BigKilla117 says:

DUDE! I dont like this “world”

  8. Vincent says:

Code Geass is awsome! I think there is four more episodes on Youtube, but still not all of them. Anyone know where I could find them?

    • There are only 25 episodes of Code Geass, however there are 25 more episodes of Code Geass R2 which we have here on the site.

  9. Brittanya7x! says:

This is a great addition to the site, I love it so much.
Before, I didn’t want to spend my time on Code geass, now that I have read this, I started wtching it, and I love it, too!

  10. fan says:

  11. Thanks for the input!

  12. non says:

  13. daxscorp says:

  14. daxscorp says:

I like the setup a soecually the what’s next part because after you finish a great series you are always looking for another one

    • WingGundamEpyonZero says:

I agree because some people might want more epic anime to “satisfy their hunger” with much like myself.

      • Darklelouchg says:

Even know i have finished the series, i can’t stop watching it over and over again

That is one of the reasons this website is awsome
