Plot Summary
Vampires exist. It is the duty of Hellsing, a secret organization sponsored by the British government, to hide that frightening fact and protect the blissfully unaware populace. Along with its own personal army, Hellsing has secret weapons. Alucard, an incredibly powerful vampire, has been controlled by Hellsing for years. It is unclear how he feels about being a servant to the Hellsing family, but he certainly enjoys his job as a vampire exterminator. Seras is a fledgling vampire and former police woman. Although reluctant to embrace her new self, she is a valued member of the organization. Integra Hellsing, the current leader, is usually fully capable of fulfilling her duty, but lately, vampire activity has been on the rise. Unfortunately, the cause is more alarming than anything she could have imagined. A group long thought dead has been plotting in secret since their apparent destruction over 50 years ago. I had no idea that Hellsing Ultimate was done by Funimation, but the original Hellsing anime was not. Don’t any of you find that rather odd?
I just wondering what happened to Episode 6, every time I try to play it I get “Video not found or access denied”, then a web site address. Don’t have any problems viewing the others.
they take too long for a single epodise anyways,.. season ended in 2006,.. why aint any of those epodises out and subbed
What a lot of people may or may not realize is that Hellsing has its two forms:
The Hellsing Anime
The Hellsing OVA series
The Hellsing Anime is completely finished as far as all reports go, there will be no further episodes for it, dubbed or subbed.
The Hellsing OVA series, is based directly from the manga, in order to present a much more higher production value creation and a much more enjoyable presentation. The OVA is currently still in the works both in its Subbed and Dubbed forms.
Dubbed is currently on delay, as far as what I am aware, due to the studios having some sort of issue, so those may not come out for a very long time, if at all.
The Subbed however, has been stated by the creators that *one* episode will be supposedly be released every 6 months. The last episode released as of the current date was December 23rd, 2009. So, with that in mind, simply count 6 months ahead and ta-da: Hellsing Ultimate OVA Sub Episode 8 *should* theoretically arrive sometime in May-June of 2010.
Where in hell are the last three episodes dubbed?

Each episode takes about 6 – 8 months to make, so figure 6 – 8 monyhs from when 7 dropped and theres ur answer

Well, I just figured that some of the veterans here might know the average time it would take for an episode of a anime series to come out. They could then give a rough estimate when another episode might come out. I know that there are a lot of variables to consider, but presuming that it was an average situation when might another episode be seen or at least heard of. I myself am new, so I wouldn’t even know if it will be coming out in a two months or five days.
I can’t recall how many episodes there are supposed to be total. I think 10 but I’m probably wrong.
The company that was doing the English dub for it though is either disbanded or out of business one of the two. So that probably won’t arrive for a long time, if ever.
Actually, I believe that Geneon was bought by FUNimation. If they were there is still a chance we could see an english dub finished for this series. FUNimation might redo the series from the start or they might finish it with the original cast or they might not do anything.
Geneon was bought by FUNimation and they did ep 4 in dub so maybe they will do whole thing

Actually, I believe they have announced Episode 7 of the Sub to be released on December 23rd of 2009. I hope I’m right. I love this series.
